Conference Facilities
MCRI is privileged to have a number of high-standard and conducive conference facilities suitable for board meetings, seminars, workshops, lectures, and related engagements. These include Conference Rooms 1, 2, 3, and 4.
The facilities are available free of charge to MCRI partners, namely Mbale Regional Referral Hospital and Busitema University, in accordance with the existing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
Please note that the conference facilities are currently not available for hire.
To reserve a conference room, users are required to send a requisition to the Boardroom Manager via email at marianne70@ymail.com. Upon availability, a room will be allocated, after which the applicant will be requested to complete a confirmation form at the MCRI Reception.

Conference Room 1
A modern and spacious boardroom ideal for executive meetings, strategic discussions, workshops, and high-level engagements in a professional and comfortable environment.
Conference Room 2
A well-equipped meeting space suitable for seminars, team meetings, training sessions, and collaborative discussions with a calm and productive atmosphere.
Conference Room 3
A flexible and conducive conference facility designed for lectures, presentations, stakeholder engagements, and medium-sized workshops.
Soroti Conference Room
A comfortable and functional conference facility located at the Mbale Clinical Research Institute Soroti Site, ideal for committee meetings, consultations, administrative sessions, and small group discussions in a professional setting.
Usage and Access
These facilities are exclusively available to our partners, Mbale Regional Referral Hospital and Busitema University, as outlined in our Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). Usage is offered at no cost to these partners.
Please note that the conference facilities are not available for hire to external parties.
Booking Procedure
To request the use of a conference facility:
- Send a requisition to the Boardroom Manager via email at marianne70@ymail.com.
- If a room is available, the Boardroom Manager will allocate it to you.
- Visit the MCRI Reception to complete a confirmation form to finalize your booking.
